About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Infusion Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum of 1 year in outpatient infusion License: CA state license required Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: - Previous charge experience preferred - Patient ratio experience - Charting system experience with Epic Description: The position is for a registered nurse specializing in infusion services. The role requires experience in outpatient infusion settings. Candidates must have a valid California state nursing license. BLS certification is required. Weekend coverage may be required. The average daily census is 32 patients. The unit operates with 3 rooms and has 6 total beds. This department does not administer chemotherapy. The focus is on providing ambulatory outpatient medications and supportive care. Infusion nurses will manage biologic/immunotherapy medications, blood transfusions, and other supportive medications. PICC placement experience or vascular access certification is preferred but not required. Candidates should have experience accessing and managing ports and administering various infusion therapies.
