Position Overview:

The General Manager (GM) at Meráki Greek Grill is responsible for the overall operations, financial performance, and culture of their specific restaurant. The GM leads by example, inspiring the team to deliver genuine hospitality and high-quality food while driving profitability and maintaining brand excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily front-of-house and back-of-house operations to ensure brand standards are met

• Recruit, hire, train, develop, and retain a high-performing restaurant team

• Manage financial performance, including P&L responsibility, labor costs, and food costs

• Ensure exceptional guest satisfaction by proactively resolving issues and fostering a welcoming culture

• Maintain strict adherence to food safety, sanitation, and health department regulations

• Create team schedules, manage inventory, and oversee ordering and vendor relationships

• Lead, coach, and mentor Shift Leaders and team members for future growth

• Drive local restaurant marketing initiatives to increase community engagement and sales

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of Restaurant General Manager experience (fast casual and/or full-service preferred)

• Strong financial acumen with experience managing P&Ls, food cost, and labor

• Proven track record of leadership, team development, and conflict resolution

• Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills

• Passion for hospitality, food quality, and operational excellence
