Registered Nurse - Radiology

Job Summary:
Provide specialized nursing care in the Interventional Radiology unit, supporting a variety of radiology procedures while ensuring patient safety and comfort. This role requires collaboration with the healthcare team to deliver high-quality, efficient care during all phases of interventional radiology procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Perform all interventional radiology procedures with precision and adherence to safety protocols.
• Monitor patients closely during procedures, maintaining consciousness and vital stability through conscious sedation.
• Document procedures, patient responses, and any complications accurately in the EMR system.
• Collaborate with technologists and physicians to ensure smooth workflow and optimal patient outcomes.
• Adhere to unit policies, including specific dress code and call schedules, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Provide patient education and post-procedure care instructions as needed.

Qualifications:

• Possess active RN licensure with at least 1 year of recent radiology or interventional experience.
• Have hands-on experience with interventional radiology procedures and conscious sedation.
• Demonstrate strong communication skills and excellent attendance habits.
• Capable of working effectively in a team-oriented environment with a collaborative attitude.
• Comfortable working on the day shift with a flexible schedule including on-call responsibilities.
• Maintain current certifications as required for the Radiology nursing specialty.
