Wealth Management Associate

Finwell is expanding its advisory team, and we're looking for a Wealth Associate who's ready to build real expertise in wealth management — with a clear, supported path toward becoming a Financial Advisor with a book of business of your own. About Finwell Finwell is a fee-only registered investment advisory and wealth management firm headquartered in Nashville, Tennessee, with a second location in Encino, California. Women-founded and owned, we were built on a simple idea: advisors should work for their clients, not for sales quotas. We serve hundreds of individuals and families — tech professionals, entrepreneurs, and entertainers among them — with fiduciary, fee-only advice paired with modern technology. About the Role Twelve months into this role, you'll be the person our advisors and clients rely on to keep the practice running smoothly — managing schedules and client communications, planning events, and supporting marketing, all while building the relationship and financial-services skills you'll need to grow into an advisory role. This is a genuinely part-time position: 20–30 hours per week, generally 9:00 AM–3:00 PM, 3–4 days per week. It's designed for someone who wants meaningful, career-track work on a schedule that also leaves room for everything else going on in their life. What You'll Do Own day-to-day administrative support for the advisory team — scheduling, correspondence, and CRM/file management Manage client relationships between advisor meetings: proactive check-ins, follow-up on requests, and a consistently excellent client experience Plan and execute client events and appreciation activities, from educational seminars to smaller gatherings Support marketing efforts — client communications, social media, email campaigns, and materials that keep Finwell top of mind for clients and prospects Use, and help the team adopt, AI-enabled tools to streamline scheduling, communications, and client service work Partner closely with advisors and teammates, flagging opportunities and issues before they become problems What We're Looking For Required: Based in or able to reliably commute to the Nashville, TN area — this is a hybrid role 3+ years of experience in financial services — at a bank, credit union, registered investment advisor, broker-dealer, mortgage company, or insurance company Strong written and verbal communication skills Comfortable with technology and open to adopting AI tools in daily work High attention to detail A collaborative, team-first approach to work Comfortable working directly with clients and prospective clients Preferred: Genuine interest in eventually moving into a Financial Advisor role Experience with event planning or marketing Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Redtail, Salesforce, Wealthbox), Google Business Suite, Microsoft office programs Working knowledge of financial planning and wealth management concepts Interest in gaining the CFP®, CIMA® , EA or similar designations Schedule & Growth Path This role is hybrid, based out of our Nashville office, and built around flexibility: 20–30 hours per week, generally 9:00 AM–3:00 PM, 3–4 days per week — substantive, career-building work without a 40-hour commitment. For the right person, it's also a runway: Finwell is looking to develop this associate into a Financial Advisor role with an established book of business to manage, eventually moving into a full-time salaried position.
