Job Overview

Seeking BE/BC Psychiatrist to join team in Duluth, MN for an emergency medicine consult role.

Responsibilities

• Team player, .8 FTE 7‑day service coverage model.
• Call schedule: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM; overnight and weekend calls shared by physician pool.
• Managing care of psychiatric patients in the emergency department, including leading care rounds, triage, and evaluation.
• Consultations for Level 1 Trauma Center.
• Rotating coverage on newly developed 6‑bed crisis stabilization unit.

Team and Division

• Part of a Behavioral Health Care Team with 8 adult and 4 child/adolescent psychiatrists, doctoral psychologists, psychiatric nurse practitioners, psychotherapists, RNs, and clinical assistants.
• The division provides inpatient psychiatric care, consult‑liaison, emergency psychiatry, ECT, intensive outpatient, partial hospitalization, and outpatient behavioral health clinic services.
• Integrated pharmacist team includes hospitalist and pharmacist.
• Hospital beds: Adult inpatient 38, Child/Adolescent inpatient 16.

Compensation

Compensation: $304,528.50. Eligible for bonuses, quality incentives, or production‑based compensation.
