Job Summary:
The metropolitan area of Saint Louis, Missouri, is seeking qualified candidates for a Medical Surgical Floor (MS) registered nurse position at a Level I Trauma Center. This role involves working on a short-term acute care unit, focusing on trauma and trauma-related injuries. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The position starts on 07/20/2026 and involves night shifts.

• Required Qualifications: Missouri or compact state nursing license (license in hand required at time of submittal for Illinois). The candidate must have a minimum of 5 years of experience, including trauma level I experience, and 6 years of patient ratio experience. Valid certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) is required. Experience with the EPIC charting system is mandated. Candidates must pass the Relias EKG exam and demonstrate interpretation and management of dysrhythmias.
• Preferred Qualifications: Previous charge nurse experience is preferred.
• Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, starting on 07/20/2026.
• Additional Information: The role involves managing complex trauma cases, including spinal cord injuries, Traumatic Brain Injury, ortho trauma, and total joint replacements. Nurses will work with special equipment such as chest tubes, surgical drains, PICC lines, and wound vacs.
