Bilingual Food Inspection Line Lead (Day Shift) Department: Operations Employment Type: Full Time Location: Fort Mill, SC Compensation: $19.61 / hour Description Do you want to be part of a winning, growing, and innovative company? We are looking for a Line Lead for our Fort Mill, SC plant. The Line Lead serves as a backup to the Senior Line Lead and monitors the progress of projects, ensuring quality standards are met in alignment with continued customer satisfaction. Assisting the Plant Manager/Supervisor, including but not limited to the following duties below: Key Responsibilities Participate in Line rotations. Review the line instruction sheet for each project and communicate the run rules to their team before starting a project. Before beginning any project verify that equipment is clean and free of defects. Inspect equipment to ensure it meets the specifications for each project. Set up inspection equipment prior to running a project. Verify the labels and quantities of each pallet. Fill out all documentation required for each project. Safety – Ensuring all employees are following FlexXray standards. Seed Checks – Assisting Sr. Line Lead with seed checks when necessary. Temperature Monitoring – ensuring temperature monitoring is done consistently and correctly, when necessary. Housekeeping and Working Conditions – owns the work area, escalates issues, maintains good control of tools/utensils/seeds/etc. Provide appropriate information to the plant leadership before, during, and after each project. Other duties assigned by the Production Supervisor. Skills, Knowledge and Expertise Education: High School Diploma Specialized Training/Certifications/Licenses: None Experience: Manufacturing Bilingual English & Spanish (Preferred) Knowledge: Computer Skills (Microsoft Office Suite) Skills: Attention to Detail Communication Flexibility Collaboration Organization Problem Solving Abilities: Must be able to stand for extended periods of time. Must be able to bend, twist, grab, pull, push, reach. Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs. unassisted.
