Interventional Radiology Tech (Radiology Tech) – Kansas City, KS, United States. Travel – temporary assignment starting 08/02/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay: $2,905 to $3,017 per week. Shift: 4×10‑hour days. Setting: hospital. Responsibilities Prepare and position patients for interventional radiology procedures; maintain sterile technique and operate equipment as needed. Scrub for IR cases and assist physicians during procedures, including catheter‑based and vascular interventions. Operate Siemens imaging systems (Artis icono, Artis Q, Artis zee; single‑plane) to acquire real‑time fluoroscopic images. Monitor patient status during procedures and assist with post‑procedure care and recovery documentation. Maintain room readiness, assist with equipment setup, inventory, and basic troubleshooting. Document procedures, radiation safety practices, and device usage; communicate findings and care needs with the team. Requirements ARRT Radiography license (in hand) and Kansas State Board of Healing Arts license (can apply once offered). AHA BLS certification. 2 years of IR experience with scrub experience required; 3 years preferred in large hospital settings with peripheral and neurovascular exposure. Ability to work in a fast‑paced IR lab and may float to other IR units as needed. Ability to meet credentialing deadlines and orientation requirements.
