Technical Support Specialist

Role Overview We are seeking a Technical Support Specialist to join our team supporting the DOE's Y-12 National Security Complex. This position is full-time and will be based out of Oak Ridge, Tennessee. The role involves working as a primary point of contact for all LifeCycle laptop/pc replacements, actively moving software from current devices to replacement devices, and ensuring customer devices are fully functional before resolving tasks. What You Will Do Provide resolutions to customer issues/requests, properly escape unresolved queries, utilize service management tools to document work notes and updates, and follow up with customers to see problems/requests through to resolution. Why It Might Be a Fit This role requires strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills, as well as the ability to convey information accurately and effectively in both written and oral form. The ideal candidate will have experience troubleshooting and supporting hardware and software, knowledge and experience in imaging with SCCM, and experience with ServiceNow incident and task management.
