Associate Attorney - General/Commercial Litigation

Job Overview A law firm seeks a litigation associate to join its office in Charlotte, North Carolina. This position offers the opportunity to engage in a sophisticated practice and take on significant roles in complex litigation processes. Duties Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and other documents. Take and defend depositions. Represent clients in mediation and draft discovery requests. Prepare for trials and assist during trial proceedings. Requirements Experience with state and federal courts preferred. Strong writing, analytical, and communication skills. Ability to travel for court appearances and other legal proceedings. Proactive, team-oriented mindset with a focus on client service. Admission to the North Carolina state bar required. Additional admissions in South Carolina, Georgia, or Virginia are a plus. Judicial clerkship experience is considered valuable. Education Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
