CVETS is a rapidly growing Specialty and Emergency Veterinary hospital seeking a detail‑oriented, highly organized Inventory and Logistics Specialist to support our operations team. This role is essential to ensuring our hospital is fully stocked, organized, and equipped to deliver exceptional patient care 24 hours a day. Our state‑of‑the‑art facility continues to grow alongside our team. With over 29,000 square feet of advanced medical space, CVETS offers a dedicated ICU, multiple operating rooms, a radiology suite, endoscopy and chemotherapy facilities, ultrasound, a 16‑slice CT scan, on‑site MRI, and the support of multiple specialty services including emergency, internal medicine, oncology, surgery, cardiology, neurology, and more. Position Overview We are seeking a career‑minded professional who thrives behind the scenes and understands the critical role inventory plays in patient care. This individual will manage the flow of medical and hospital supplies, ensuring our clinical teams have what they need, when they need it in a fast‑paced emergency and specialty environment. Key Responsibilities Maintain and optimize inventory levels across all hospital departments Manage ordering, vendor relationships, and supply logistics Track shipments, resolve backorders, and ensure timely delivery of critical supplies Receive, inspect, and stock inventory with accuracy and efficiency Perform routine inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies Maintain clean, organized, and compliant storage areas Monitor usage trends and identify cost‑saving opportunities Respond quickly to urgent supply needs in a 24/7 hospital setting What We’re Looking For Experience in inventory, logistics, supply chain, or materials management (veterinary or healthcare preferred) Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced, high‑demand environment Strong communication and problem‑solving skills Experience with inventory management systems; veterinary software experience is a plus A team‑oriented mindset with a commitment to supporting patient care About Columbia, SC Columbia, located in central South Carolina, is a city of approximately 1 million people with a consistent growth pattern.
