Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled, dedicated Independent Contractor Optometrist (OD) to join our team on a flexible full-time or part-time basis. In this role, you will have clinical autonomy to practice full-scope optometry, utilizing state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment to care for a diverse patient base.
Technology & Office Support
- Advanced Diagnostics: Our clinic features the Optos Retinal Camera , allowing for thorough, efficient wellness screenings and pathology management.
- Modern Workflow: We utilize Eyefinity EHR for streamlined, paperless charting and exam documentation.
- Dedicated Support: You will be supported by an experienced pre-testing, optical, and administrative team to optimize your patient workflow.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive eye exams to assess visual acuity and overall ocular health.
- Diagnose and manage ocular conditions, diseases, and visual disorders.
- Prescribe corrective lenses , specialty contact lenses, and necessary therapeutic medications.
- Utilize Optos imaging to educate patients on their retinal health and monitor pathology.
- Maintain accurate records using Eyefinity EHR.
Qualifications & Skills
- Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited school.
- Active Ohio state license to practice optometry in good standing.
- Proficiency with, or willingness to learn, Eyefinity EHR.
- Excellent patient chair-side manner and clinical decision-making skills.
