Position: HVAC Technicians (Residential) Company: SmartHouse Heating & Cooling LLC Pay Range: Experienced HVAC Technician (3+ Years, Non-Licensed): $32–$44 per hour + Performance Bonuses Licensed HVAC Technician (St. Louis County License Required): $44–$56 per hour + Performance Bonuses Job Overview SmartHouse Heating & Cooling LLC is seeking skilled, service-minded HVAC Technicians to join our growing residential team in the St. Louis area. Key Responsibilities Diagnose, service, and repair residential HVAC systems including furnaces, A/C units, heat pumps, and minisplits (boilers/geothermal a plus) Perform system tune-ups, preventative maintenance, and safety checks Lead or support new equipment installations depending on experience Clearly communicate with homeowners about system performance and options Accurately document all work and maintain updated service records Maintain clean, organized work environments and protect client property Uphold safety standards and OSHA compliance Participate in on-call rotation and occasional overtime Qualifications Standard HVAC Technician (Non-Licensed Tier): 3+ years of residential HVAC experience with a licensed contractor EPA certification required Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills Reliable, professional, and communicative Valid driver’s license with clean driving record Licensed HVAC Technician (Higher-Pay Tier): 5+ years of residential HVAC experience St. Louis County HVAC or Sheetmetal Journeyman License required Advanced installation and service expertise Able to independently run service calls and equipment installs HVAC degree or advanced technical training a plus Benefits Weekly pay Performance bonuses Medical, dental, and vision insurance Life and disability insurance options Retirement savings program Paid time off (vacation, holidays, sick leave) Company vehicle and fuel card Paid training, certifications, and continuing education Tool replacement program Company smartphone or tablet Company-provided uniforms and safety gear Sales promotions and incentive contests Positive, team-focused culture Schedule Full-time, Monday–Friday Overtime available On-call rotation as needed Work Location Based in St. Louis, MO Field-based residential work across the surrounding metro area Equal Employment Opportunity We are proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
