Floating Apartment Maintenance Technician

Berger Communities is hiring a Floating Service Technician to support multiple apartment communities throughout West Chester, Kennett Square, Phoenixville, Boothwyn, and surrounding areas.

We're looking for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys solving problems, and values building positive relationships with residents and team members. As a Floating Service Technician, you'll provide maintenance support across several apartment communities throughout Chester and Delaware Counties. Rather than traveling to multiple properties each day, you'll typically be assigned to one community for multiple weeks at a time after transitioning to another location as business needs require, allowing you to become part of the team, build relationships with residents and coworkers, and make a meaningful impact at each property.

Pay & Benefits

• $26–$30/hour, paid biweekly, plus:

Location: Based throughout the West Chester, Kennett Square, Phoenixville, and Boothwyn markets. 

Schedule: Full time, Monday-Friday. 

What You’ll Do

You’ll be the go-to person for keeping our apartment community running smoothly. That means:

• Handling service requests and repairs in apartments and buildings
• Getting empty homes move-in ready
• Keeping the grounds, amenities, and common areas looking great
• Doing preventive maintenance and inspections
• Jumping in on snow removal and sharing on-call shifts
• Creating a great resident experience with friendly, professional service
