Cable Assembler

Position Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented Coaxial Cable Assembler to join our team in Amherst, NH. You will handle the high-quality assembly, preparation, and testing of semi-rigid and flexible coaxial cable assemblies.

Key Responsibilities

• Hand Soldering: Solder connectors and contacts onto assemblies using resistant soldering tweezers.

• Cable Prep: Cut, trim, and prepare cables using machinery and hand tools.

• Blueprints & Specs: Read and interpret customer drawings, diagrams, and technical procedures.

• Precision Measuring: Use vernier calipers, height gauges, and measuring tapes.

• Production: Load materials onto machines, test finished assemblies, and log production time records.

Qualifications

• excellent hand soldering experience and excellent fine motor skills for small parts assembly. SOme J-standard soldering exp preferred

• Ability to read technical drawings and use precision measuring tools.

• Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented.

Coaxial Cable Assembler (1stShift) 

Location: Amherst, NH

Pay Rate: $19.00 - $23.00 / hour

Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours/week (First Shift) mon - thur 7-4:30 Fri 7-2pm 

Duration: 6-Month Contract (Temp-to-Hire potential)

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Hand Soldering connectors and contacts onto semi-rigid/flexible Cable Assemblies using resisitant soldering tweezers
• Read customers drawings, diagrams, specs and technical procedures 
• Cut, trim, prepare semi-rigid/flexible coaxial cable using machines and hand tools 
• Use Precision measuring devices - vernier calipers, height gauges, measuring tape
• Loading material onto machines
• Testing assemblies 
• Maintaining production time records 

The essential functions of this role include:

• manual lifting up to 25lbs
