Jr. Underwriter This is an in-office position, located in Alexandria, Virginia. Overview We are a U.S.-based small business funding company headquartered in Alexandria, Virginia. Responsibilities We are seeking a Jr. Underwriter to review, research, analyze, and price deals up to $2M in gross annual revenue. The ideal candidate will support senior analysts by collecting, organizing, and analyzing financial data, creating financial models, preparing reports and presentations, and assisting with budgeting and forecasting to help guide investment and business decisions. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance preferred 0-1 years of consumer and/or commercial underwriting a plus Experience or education with financial analysis Experience or education in reviewing and analyzing financial statements Strong analytical skills Skilled at multi-tasking; able to coordinate, organize, prioritize, and execute responsibilities in the face of conflicting priorities and unexpected situations Fluency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); knowledge of Salesforce or other CRM is desirable; ability to manage multiple software applications Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills Effective verbal and written communication skills are a must Strong work ethic; high level of discretion Compensation & Benefits Extremely competitive salary 401(k) with company match Health, Vision, and Dental benefits Generous PTOOpportunity to work with a smart, passionate team #J-18808-Ljbffr Neier Inc.
