America's Parking Remarking (APR) is looking for an experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our team. This position is responsible for maintaining and repairing the trucks, fleet vehicles, and specialized equipment that keep our pavement marking and traffic control operations running.

What You'll Do
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair diesel trucks, fleet vehicles, and specialized equipment.
- Perform preventative maintenance and routine inspections.
- Diagnose and repair hydraulic systems, hoses, and components.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems.
- Inspect and repair hydraulic and air brake systems.
- Perform welding, cutting, and fabrication as needed.
- Maintain proper fluid levels, tire pressures, and other preventative maintenance items.
- Travel to jobsites for mobile repairs when needed.
- Maintain accurate service and repair records.
- Keep the shop and work areas clean, organized, and safe.
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of experience as a Diesel Mechanic or in a similar fleet/equipment mechanic role.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Strong knowledge of diesel engines, trucks, and equipment.
- Experience diagnosing mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and braking systems.
- Proficiency with diagnostic equipment, hand tools, and power tools.
- Welding and fabrication experience preferred.
- Valid driver's license required; CDL preferred.
- Ability to troubleshoot problems and work independently.
- Experience with construction, pavement marking, traffic control, or other specialized equipment is a plus.
