Database Administrator vacancy in Atlanta USA Junior Database Administrator. Responsibilities Install and maintain database software Monitor database performance and optimize as needed Troubleshoot and resolve database issues in a timely manner Ensure data security and backup strategies are in place Collaborate with other teams to design and implement new databases or changes to existing ones Perform database maintenance tasks such as data migrations, upgrades, and patches Document database processes and procedures Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred Strong understanding of database management systems (DBMS) Familiarity with SQL language and programming languages such as Java or Python Knowledge of data backup, recovery, security, and integrity principles Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and provide solutions under pressure Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with other teams Attention to detail and strong analytical skills This position is open to individuals without prior experience in the field.
