Job Summary:

The Imaging Support Technician is responsible for assisting in vascular IR procedures within the OR, providing hands-on support with imaging technology, case workflow, and equipment operation. This role requires active participation throughout the procedure and collaboration with the surgical team to ensure successful case outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Prepare and organize case inventory, including pulling and ordering supplies in EPIC prior to procedures.
  
  
• 
  Operate control tables and imaging equipment during vascular IR cases.
  
  
• 
  Perform 3D spins, utilize fusion technology, and support imaging post-processing activities.
  
  
• 
  Maintain active engagement in the OR, including filming and documenting procedural images with HI-IQ.
  
  
• 
  Assist with simple surgical cases using C-arm support, such as Impellas and cystos, alongside X-ray staff.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate closely with vascular surgeons, OR team members, and other procedural staff to ensure seamless workflow.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Hold ARRT certification and BLS certification.
  
  
• 
  Possess VA license (or eligible for temporary license pending licensure in another state, with licensure in hand within 8 weeks).
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate strong vascular and interventional radiology experience, with familiarity in Hybrid OR procedures.
  
  
• 
  Have reliable independence and active involvement skills in case management.
  
  
• 
  Be able to work rotating call shifts and comply with shift hours (7:30 am - 4:00 pm).
  
  
• 
  Meet all experience, licensure, certification, and background verification requirements as specified.
