As a Shift Manager at  Checkers & Rally’s , you are the "Every Shift" Leader, responsible for overseeing all restaurant operations to ensure guest satisfaction and operational efficiency during your assigned timeframe.

Core Responsibilities

• Operational Leadership: Manage the efficient operation of the front line and kitchen, ensuring all procedures are followed.
• Team Management: Delegate tasks to restaurant staff, supervise performance, and provide on-the-spot training and feedback.
• Guest Service: Address guest complaints or policy violations immediately to ensure a positive dining experience.
• Financial & Inventory Tasks: Track daily costs and revenues, balance cash registers, and maintain stocked inventory by ordering supplies as needed.
• Maintenance & Safety: Ensure the restaurant remains a safe, clean, and fun environment for both employees and guests while complying with all safety regulations.
• Administrative Duties: Open or close the restaurant, report maintenance or training needs to the General Manager, and provide thorough handovers to the next shift manager.

Job Requirements & Qualifications

• Experience: Typically requires 1–2 years of restaurant management experience, preferably in Quick Service Restaurants (QSR).
• Education: A high school diploma or GED is generally required.
• Physical Demands: Must be able to stand, walk, lift up to 50 lbs , and stoop for approximately 90% of shift time.
• Mobility: Many locations require a valid driver's license, access to a vehicle for company business, and current liability insurance.
