We are seeking a strategic and analytical professional to support the development, execution, and continuous improvement of LES' Strategic Plan and innovation initiatives. In this role, you will partner with leaders and subject matter experts across the organization to conduct research, analyze data, evaluate emerging opportunities, and develop actionable insights that drive informed decision-making. From tracking key performance indicators and enterprise initiatives to coordinating pilot projects and industry partnerships, you will play a vital role in advancing organizational priorities, fostering innovation, and helping LES navigate the evolving utility landscape.

JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for providing support and performing analysis related to LES' strategic plan and innovation initiatives. Specific duties include conducting research; analyzing data; execution of required processes; coordination across other areas of the company; and developing actionable reporting regarding areas of responsibility. Consistent and reliable attendance is an essential function of this position.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND COMPETENCIES

Supports implementation, progress tracking and ongoing enhancements of the LES Strategic Plan, including interim refreshes and periodic full-plan updates.

Works collaboratively with internal subject matter experts to document, review and validate periodic reporting of key performance indicators related to the LES strategic plan.

Collaborates with internal stakeholders to track, evaluate and report upon the execution of corporate initiatives supporting the LES strategic plan.

Effectively partners with Strategy & Innovation area staff and other internal subject matter experts to perform in-depth evaluations of key strategic drivers, operational challenges, and enterprise risks, and researches the solution ecosystem for relevant options to respond to existing and emerging needs.

Conducts analysis and develops comprehensive reports, dashboards and other tools to assist with and support business decisions across the Strategy & Innovation area.

Collaborates with other areas of the company to identify, research, analyze, recommend and ultimately track and report upon innovation initiatives and programs designed to advance strategic, operational, or enterprise risk mitigation objectives.

Supports and coordinates corporate pilot projects, technical demonstrations and proof-of concept developments.

Assists department leadership with administering and executing Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI) responsibilities for LES, including serving as a liaison and coordinator of various forms of LES' involvement as an EPRI member.

Coordinates and tracks LES' membership and participation in industry trade organizations such as the American Public Power Association (APPA) and Large Public Power Council (LPPC).

REQUIRED EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Analyst ($82,720 - $103,400) - Bachelor's degree in engineering, Mathematics, Business Analytics, or a related field. Four years of progressively responsible experience in strategic planning, innovation, business analytics, research, performance measurement, project coordination or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job.

Analyst II ($93,800 - $117,250) - Bachelor's degree in engineering, Mathematics, Business Analytics, or a related field. Six years of progressively responsible experience in strategic planning, innovation, business analytics, research, performance measurement, project coordination or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job.

Senior Analyst ($104,880 - $131,100) - Bachelor's degree in engineering, Mathematics, Business Analytics, or a related field. Eight years of progressively responsible experience in strategic planning, innovation, business analytics, research, performance measurement, project coordination or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job.
