Only qualified Packaging Operator candidates located near Hunt Valley, MD to be considered due to the position requiring an onsite presence. Required Education High School Diploma or Equivalent. Required Experience Experience in packaging operations Experience in a regulated manufacturing environment Experience with manual and automated packaging systems Experience following Standard Manufacturing Procedures SMP and Standard Operating Procedures SOP Experience with labeling inspecting filling and assembling products Experience maintaining production documentation and records. Tech Skills Manual and automated packaging equipment Equipment setup operation and cleanup Labeling and inspection Filling and assembly Weighing scales Hand filling equipment Integrated Fill Lines IFL Bagging equipment Shrink wrap equipment Good Manufacturing Practices GMP Basic PC skills Microsoft Windows Basic math skills Documentation and recordkeeping Ability to read charts diagrams and specifications. Soft Skills Strong attention to detail Effective communication skills Teamwork and collaboration Problem solving and troubleshooting Good documentation practices Ability to manage changing priorities Dependability and punctuality Ability to work in a repetitive environment Flexibility to work overtime and rotating shifts as required. Responsibilities Package products according to SMP and SOP requirements Set up operate and clean packaging equipment Fill assemble label and inspect products Maintain accurate production and quality documentation Weigh materials within specified tolerances when required Communicate production status between shifts Operate weighing scales hand filling equipment Integrated Fill Lines IFL bagging equipment and shrink wrap equipment Follow Good Manufacturing Practices GMP Follow all client housekeeping policies and procedures Follow all client safety policies and procedures Identify and escalate packaging or equipment issues Perform additional duties as assigned.
