Registered Nurse (RN) - Cardiac Telemetry

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day Shift: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM. No weekends or holidays.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will provide nursing care for patients undergoing various cardiac procedures, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care in a telemetry setting.

Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor patients in a Cardiac Telemetry unit.
• Administer medications and provide appropriate nursing interventions.
• Conduct EKG monitoring and interpretation.
• Provide pre- and post-procedure care for cardiac procedures.
• Utilize Epic for charting and patient management.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Cardiac Telemetry nursing role.
• Active RN license required.
• Current certifications in ACLS and BLS.
• Experience with Epic charting system.
• Must pass a compliance EKG exam prior to start.
