Tenet-AZ Region is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) CVICU for a nursing job in Tucson, Arizona. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: CVICU Discipline: RN Duration: Ongoing 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours Employment Type: Staff Up to $15,000 Bonus based on eligibility Position Summary Provides direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols of the healthcare organization. Implements and monitors patient care plans. Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition as appropriate. Serves as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care. Notes and carries out physician and nursing orders. Assesses and coordinates patient’s discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team. Assessment uses a systematic, dynamic way to collect and analyze data about a patient, including physiological, psychological, sociocultural, spiritual, economic, and lifestyle factors. Responsibilities Initial assessment Re-assessment Focused assessment based on patient condition, setting, and population Problem identification—clinical judgment about the patient’s response to health conditions or needs Planning and Outcomes—set measurable and achievable short‑ and long‑range goals in collaboration with patient and family; document in care plan Establishing daily goals with patient and family Formulating a plan of care Transition or discharge planning Implementation—nursing care according to the care plan; ensure continuity of care; document in record Ensures patient safety Medication administration Provision of ordered treatments Patient/family education Provision of nursing care (documentation) Evaluation—continuous evaluation of patient status and effectiveness of nursing care; modify care plan as needed Care coordination—manage and correct sequence, timing, and effectiveness of patient care from admission to discharge Delegation Supervision Prioritization Minimum Requirements Education: Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing License and Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) – American Heart Association; Valid current Arizona Nursing License or compact state license and ability to become Arizona Licensed in 30 days Preferred Requirements Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing Certifications: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) – American Heart Association; Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS); Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) or others as required by individual department #J-18808-Ljbffr Tenet-AZ Region
