Power Bi Developer

Location: This is onsite hybrid in Charlotte, NC. Duration: Six months.

Develop and maintain business intelligence solutions using Power BI, SQL, MDX, and Tableau.

Review, analyze, and modify the back-end database processes that stage the data for reports.

Write and maintain complex SQL queries for data extraction for validation.

Reverse engineering database processes and reports, understand the logic and intent, and enhance or re-write.

Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements.

Conduct testing and validate results to ensure accuracy and quality.

Support UAT testing.

Manage and mentor junior team members, providing guidance and support.

Analyze complex data sets to identify trends and insights.

Design and implement data pipelines and ensure seamless data integration.

Maintain documentation for data models, configurations, and processes.

Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Required Skills

Minimum of 10+ years of experience in a similar role.

Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and methodologies.

Strong experience and expertise in PowerBI, Tableau, SQL, and MDX.

Proficient and experienced in stored procedures and complex queries.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Proven track record of managing and mentoring teams.

Experience with various testing and result validation.

Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy.

Knowledge of data mapping and data pipelines.

Ability to translate business requirements into technical requirements.
