Quality Control Inspector

Location: Carol Stream, IL
Pay: $19-$23/hr (based on experience)
Schedule:

• Mon-Thu: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM
• Fri: 6:00 AM - 12:00 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect manufactured parts, with emphasis on final inspection
• Identify defects and tolerance deviations using work orders and drawings
• Perform internal calibration and maintain quality standards
• Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines

Requirements

• 1-3 years of QC or related experience
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills
• Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems
• Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, height gauges, PMI)

Physical Requirements

• Lift small parts regularly (under 10 lbs.; occasional heavier lifting)
• Frequent standing, bending, and movement
• Use of PPE (steel-toe boots, safety glasses, hearing protection)

Additional Expectations

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to identify defects
• Work collaboratively with QC Supervisor as needed
