Operating on a stable Sunday-Wednesday schedule (11:00 AM-9:30 PM), this onsite role focuses on essential microbiological testing and environmental monitoring in a state-of-the-art facility.

responsibilities:

• Perform routine environmental monitoring (EM) of classified manufacturing spaces and critical utility sampling.
• Execute microbiological testing under supervision, including bioburden, endotoxin, growth promotion, and method suitability assays.
• Complete accurate Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) documentation and input test results directly into LIMS and electronic systems.
• Prepare laboratory samples, media, reagents, and materials while managing laboratory supply inventory.
• Support investigation activities by gathering data for alert/action level excursions, deviations, and continuous improvement initiatives.

 
qualifications:
Required:

• Bachelor's degree in Microbiology, Biology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, or a related Life Science discipline (equivalent lab experience considered).
• 0-2 years of experience in a regulated laboratory environment (academic laboratory experience accepted in lieu of industry experience).
• Ability to gown fully for classified cleanrooms and safely handle disinfectants, chemicals, and biological materials.
• Physical capacity to stand/walk for long periods, perform repetitive tasks (pipetting), and lift up to 25 lbs.
• Full availability for the fixed Sunday-Wednesday, 11:00 AM-9:30 PM shift.

Preferred:

• Prior experience in a GMP-regulated environment.
• Exposure to environmental monitoring, aseptic techniques, or LIMS software.
