Secretary - Pottstown Middle School

Trojan Position
10 Month Position with possibility of summer hours; 7am- 3pm shift
Looking for a flexible individual who exhibits strong people skills, has a positive outlook, is a team player, has a pleasant telephone demeanor, and is able to deal with a fast-paced environment and continual interruption. Preferred skills include a strong attention to detail, and comfortable use of Microsoft Office software applications.
Under supervision, the successful candidate will perform the following tasks:
- Answer and route incoming calls, greets visitors
- Help to complete school and state reports as needed
- Support Student attendance process
- Assist visitors in following proper security procedures
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Typing and/or Computer Skills Preferred
- Experience with Microsoft Office Applications and Google Suite preferred
- High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
- Act 34, Act 114 and Act 151 Clearances Required
- Clearances, physical, and TB test (less than one year old) are required before employment can start
