Seven Healthcare are seeking a dedicated Respiratory Therapist for an exciting travel assignment in Central City, NE. The role involves delivering both inpatient and outpatient respiratory care within an acute care hospital setting, using state-of-the-art equipment such as EPIC. - Provide inpatient and outpatient respiratory care
- Perform electrocardiographs (EKG), overnight pulse oximetry, Holter monitors, and pulmonary function tests (PFT)
- Assist with codes, traumas, and airway maintenance
- Plan and monitor respiratory care modalities, identifying contra-indications
- Deliver disease-specific patient and family education
- Oversee sleep studies and support pulmonary clinics
- Disinfect and sterilize respiratory equipment as per infection control guidelines
- Graduation from an AMA-approved program of Respiratory Care accredited by the National Board of Respiratory Care
- Minimum of 1 year experience in an acute care hospital setting
- NBRC-RRT or CRT certification
- BLS - AHA certification
- NE Respiratory Therapist license
