Job Description
Neonatal Intensive Care Registered Nurse (RN)

A healthcare organization is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Neonatal Intensive Care Registered Nurse (RN) to join their team. This role requires a strong commitment to providing exceptional care to critically ill newborns in a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). The ideal candidate will have the necessary qualifications and experience to excel in this environment.

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care to infants in a Level III NICU setting.
Monitor patients' vital signs and administer medications as prescribed.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
Support families by providing education and emotional support throughout the care process.
Perform advanced life-saving techniques as needed, ensuring adherence to safety and clinical guidelines.

Required Qualifications

1 year of recent full-time equivalent experience within the last 3 years.
Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
Current Registered Nurse License in the state where care is provided.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program (ANRP) certification.
Experience in Level III Neonatal Intensive Care.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in nursing or a related field.
Seven (7) years of recent experience in Level III Neonatal Intensive Care within the last ten (10) years preferred.
