Packaging Line Operator/Technician

Job Description Job Description Packaging Line Technician Pay: Starting at $26.98/hr Shift: 2-2-3 Rotation, 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM About the Role Church & Dwight is hiring a Packaging Line Technician to operate and maintain manufacturing equipment in a fast-paced production environment. You'll run machines including the un-scrambler, filler, case former, case sealer, Hartness case packer, and palletizer/stretch wrapper, while performing autonomous maintenance to keep lines running at targeted OEE rates. Full training provided upon hire. What You'll Do * Safely operate equipment to meet quality, scheduling, and customer requirements * Follow standard work and participate in machine set-up and changeover functions * Verify materials and components to ensure quality standards are met * Participate in line troubleshooting and problem-solving activities * Perform autonomous maintenance functions: cleaning, inspection, lubrication, and tightening * Operate auxiliary/support equipment * Use company software and electronic systems to support line operations * Identify areas of waste and contribute to continuous improvement efforts * Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area aligned with 5S standards * Support and adhere to all plant safety policies and procedures What You'll Need * High school diploma or GED * Manufacturing experience preferred * Mechanical aptitude preferred * Basic computer skills preferred * Good communication and organizational/time management skills * Ability to work well with others across the team Church & Dwight is an Equal Opportunity Employer/Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities.
