The Quality Supervisor oversees the preventative quality assurance and product focused quality control programs for production, assembly, testing, and distribution of car wash systems/components, ensuring products meet company and customer standards. This role manages inspections, product testing, parts verification, vendor receiving inspections, parts sales support, and the development of SOPs, policies, and procedures, reporting directly to the Director of Operations.

The measurable impact of this role is essentially establishing, monitoring, & maintaining systems which improve processes and ensure that all defects are discovered before leaving the facility which ensures all deliverables meet the quality expectations of our customers.  This role is critical to ensure every car wash system, component, and replacement part leaves the facility complete, tested, and meeting the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities

Quality Control & Product Testing

• Perform and oversee quality inspections of car wash systems and components.
• Conduct product testing and final inspections to verify functionality, performance, and compliance with company standards.
• Identify, document, and resolve quality issues, including root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Maintain inspection records, testing reports, and quality documentation.

Production Support

• Verify production orders meet customer specifications and are complete prior to shipment.
• Ensure all systems, components, and replacement parts are accurately packaged and included with orders.
• Collaborate with Production, Engineering, and Operations to improve quality, efficiency, and manufacturing quality checkpoints.

Receiving & Vendor Quality

• Receive and inspect incoming materials and components to verify compliance with purchase orders and quality requirements.
• Document and resolve vendor quality issues, shortages, damages, and non-conforming materials.
• Maintain receiving inspection records and communicate discrepancies to appropriate departments.

Inventory & Parts Support

• Support internal parts sales by verifying parts availability, accuracy, and order completeness.
• Assist with inventory accuracy and quality verification of stocked parts.
• Coordinate with warehouse and sales teams on parts fulfillment.

SOP Development & Compliance

• Create, maintain, and update SOPs, quality policies, and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with company quality standards, safety requirements, and best operational practices.
• Train employees in quality processes and work instructions.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the organization.

Leadership & Communication

• Collaborate with departments to achieve quality objectives and resolve quality concerns.
• Communicate quality metrics, trends, and improvement opportunities to management.
• Provide regular reports and updates to the Director of Operations.
• Foster a culture of accountability, quality, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience with MIG welding required; TIG welding experience strongly preferred
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
• Experience operating fabrication equipment (iron worker, plasma cutter, saws, etc.)
• Familiarity with measuring tools such as tape measures, calipers, and micrometers
• Strong attention to detail and quality standards
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

Physical Demands

• Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout production and warehouse areas.
• Ability to lift 0 - 50 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to inspect equipment, components, and assemblies in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work in both office and production settings.
• Specific vision abilities include close vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
