CPC is seeking a Civil Project Engineer experienced in Land Development and Municipal engineering projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for the preparation of construction drawings for projects, including but not limited to site plans, grading and drainage plans, roadway alignment, plan and profiles, cross sections, earthwork calculations, water distribution, sanitary sewer collection systems, storm sewer design, intersection layouts, and utilization of applicable standard details based on the municipality. Duties also include preparing project plans and assembling permit submittals (Water Management, FDEP, City, County, and State). Primary Responsibilities :

• Plan, design, and analyze civil engineering projects from concept through completion
• Prepare engineering drawings, specifications, reports, and cost estimates
• Perform site investigations, surveys, and feasibility studies
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and permitting requirements
• Coordinate with architects, contractors, surveyors, and other stakeholders
• Review and approve technical submittals and construction plans
• Conduct inspections and monitor construction progress for quality and safety
• Identify and resolve design or construction issues efficiently
• Support project scheduling, budgeting, and risk management activities

Skills & Abilities:

• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Bluebeam, ICPR, Microsoft Office Suite , and relevant software
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and follow through to completion within an allocated time
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team and manage multiple tasks

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
• Engineer in Training (EIT) certification is required
• Ability to obtain Professional Engineer (PE) license
• Experience with Land Development/Site Design, Stormwater, Utilities, and permitting with our Local and State Regulatory Agencies is required.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team and manage multiple tasks
• 3 - 5 Years of Experience in Land Development and Municipal projects

$80,000-$110,000. Salary will be commensurate with experience.
