Clerk/Typist

Position Summary We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Clerk/Typist. In this role, the successful candidate performs clerical duties requiring judgment in assigned area. Job Responsibilities Performs other duties as assigned. Issues pagers, zone assignments, and transportation log sheet to the transporters as they report to work. Oversees the flow of patient transportation by monitoring transportation activity via the automated transportation application. Monitors transporters activities as they relate to delay codes and assistance required. Effectively manages transport emergency hot line for MRTs, Airways, and other critical assistance needed by transporters and elevators. Documents all calls to include: elevator requests, improper patient transports, and patient identification issues. Contacts the transportation supervisor when issues arise that require his or her attention. Minimum Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent education and experience. Computer experience desired. Good communication skills. Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of office routine/procedures preferred. Telephone and data entry skills. Salary Transparency The salary range for the role is $28.87 - $28.87 per hour. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range does not include bonuses, incentive pay, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
