Job Summary / Description KVVU‑TV, FOX5, Las Vegas, is looking for someone with an eye for news and someone with the creativity to tell stories through the lens of their camera. You must be self‑motivated, have good communication skills, and be able to work both independently and as part of a team. Responsibilities Primary duties include gathering video, interviews, and information; editing for broadcast and digital/social platforms; setting up/executing live shots; knowledge in ENG cameras; using cellular Live broadcast devices (Live U); and other duties as assigned. Gathering video and sound for stories Shoot daily live shots Editing stories for television, web Contribute to the entire editorial process, including sourcing, enterprising, gathering, story construction, and presentation. Qualifications / Requirements Minimum 2 to 3 years of prior videography experience in a TV newsroom. Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in journalism, TV production, or related field; equivalent experience considered. Non‑linear editing experience. Computer experience. Proven ability to post content on social media platforms. Ability to lift up to 35 pounds. Flexible schedule with on‑call assignments. MVR check during pre‑employment.
