Job Summary Medical Laboratory Scientist at Providence Little Company of Mary Torrance Hospital, Torrance, CA. This full‑time position requires 8‑hour variable shifts. Responsibilities The Clinical Laboratory Scientist is responsible for specimen processing, test performance, test result reporting, and clerical and patient care support services. The CLS provides service in one or more sections of the laboratory with a high level of accuracy, precision, and timeliness and ensures compliance with departmental and regulatory agency standards. Required Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Science. California Clinical Laboratory Scientist License upon hire. 1 year of experience in a clinical laboratory in a relevant area of responsibility. 1 year of experience meeting CLIA requirements for moderate to high complexity testing personnel.
