Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients to understand their physical limitations and recovery needs, developing individualized treatment plans that reflect their unique circumstances.
• Implement hands-on manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and modalities to facilitate rehabilitation, significantly enhancing the patients' mobility and reducing pain.
• Educate patients and their families about corrective exercises, rehabilitation strategies, and lifestyle modifications aimed at promoting long-term health and functional independence.
• Continuously monitor and document patients' progress, reassessing treatment plans as necessary to ensure the highest standards of care and optimal outcomes.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including occupational therapists, speech therapists, and physicians, to create a comprehensive treatment approach that addresses all aspects of patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist at Center Light Physical Therapy, you will primarily support patients recovering from musculoskeletal injuries, surgeries, and chronic conditions. Our diverse client base includes individuals of all ages and backgrounds, from athletes needing rehabilitation to seniors focusing on mobility improvements and pain management. Qualifications

• Must possess a valid Physical Therapist license in the state of Virginia.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy or higher (Master's or Doctorate is highly preferred).
• A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Physical Therapist, working in outpatient settings.
• Strong critical thinking, assessment, and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients and their families.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT, is advantageous.
• Proficiency in various manual therapy techniques and rehabilitation principles.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is USD 90,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
