Electrical Design Engineer

Electrical Engineer – Controls & Power Systems MAC Products is hiring an Electrical Engineer to join our engineering team designing advanced control systems for the Electrical Power Utility and Electrified Mass Transit industries . This role offers hands‑on involvement across the full project lifecycle — from schematic design and PLC programming to field commissioning and customer support. You’ll work on a wide variety of systems including power distribution, automation, backup systems, redundancy, and remote monitoring . What You’ll Do Design electrical schematics and wiring using AutoCAD Electrical Create custom industrial control panel layouts Develop software using Ladder Logic, Structured Text, and Function Blocks Design communication systems using fiber, copper, and wireless Support FAT, SAT, commissioning, and troubleshooting Work directly with customers in the field when needed What We’re Looking For B.S. in Electrical Engineering 3–5 years of hands‑on engineering experience PLC programming and troubleshooting experienceComfortable in a fast‑paced, multitasking environment Strong communication and customer‑facing skills Willingness to travel as needed Desire to grow a long‑term career Nice to Have Electrical Power or Utility industry experience SCADA or remote monitoring systems exposure Why MAC Products? 50+ years of engineering excellence Exposure to utilities and transit infrastructure nationwide #J-18808-Ljbffr
