This individual will be responsible for but not limited to:* Maintaining a working knowledge of cleaning chemicals, supplies and equipment.* Cleans/disinfects occupied patient rooms (and upon dismissals), patient restrooms, treatment rooms, etc.* Removes soiled linen from occupied patient rooms.* Cleans/disinfects patient equipment such as wheelchairs, floor carts, I.V. pumps, etc.* Empties trash and vacuums carpet using proper equipment.* Cleans public areas, staff areas, and areas impacted by spills or stains.* Other duties as assigned.The Housekeeper I position is ideal for an individual who is team-oriented, organized, and has great attention to detail.**Position Requirements:**EDUCATION: GED or High School Diploma preferred.
