Job Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient assessments, including physical examinations and comprehensive medical history evaluations
• Assist in diagnosing surgical conditions via interpretation of imaging and laboratory results
• Work closely with surgeons to develop and implement patient-specific surgical treatment strategies
• Offer intraoperative assistance, prepping operating rooms, ensuring ideal patient positioning, and coordinating with surgical instruments
• Provide outstanding pre- and post-operative care that includes medication management, wound care, discharge planning, and patient education

Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Completion of clinical rotations focused on surgery is strongly preferred

Certifications

• Current and valid PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certifications are required
• Valid state licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
