Full-time, Part-time Description PrimeCare Medical Inc. is looking for enthusiastic and hard-working Certified Medical Assistants (CMA) to work full-time or part-time on the night shift in the Medical Department at the Chester County Prison in West Chester, PA. The Medical Assistant will be responsible for a variety of daily tasks such as medical records request, administrative reports, Continuity of Care (COC) release, and other medical duties. Available Shifts: FT & PT Night (11:00 PM - 7:30 AM) Job Responsibilities:

• Maintaining examination and treatment areas
• Verification of medications and medical information
• Maintain medication records
• Answer telephone and processing calls
• Maintain filing system and confidentiality of information at all times
• Provide full administrative and clerical support to the medical department at the facility to include typing of various reports, letters and memorandum
• Data Entry
• Scanning documents into the computer
• Assisting with the credentialing process of new hires
• Maintain staff log
• Schedule transports
• Assist with billing

• Ability to work in a fast paced environment with multi-tasking
• Good grasp of patient assessment skills
• Effective communication skills & pleasant telephone manner
• Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions
• Working knowledge of office equipment and medical equipment
• Working knowledge of medical terminology
• Minimum of 2 years medical assistant or medical office administrative support.
• Strong computer skills (including Word, Excel, and Outlook)
• Strong organizations skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work with confidential matters and information is required

Salary Description

$20.00 / Hour
