Why This Role Matters: As an Expanded Function Dental Assistant (EFDA), you'll be a key player in delivering high-quality care and creating positive patient experiences. Your expertise will directly impact patient outcomes---helping people feel confident, healthy, and cared for. What You'll Do - Bring your skills to life in a hands-on, fast-paced environment: - Perform expanded duties such as, but not limited to, placing composite and GI restorations, Sealant placement, Silver Diamine Fluoride placement - Work chairside with dentists---anticipating needs and ensuring smooth, efficient procedures - Contribute to the dental team by helping with instrument sterilization, operatory disinfection and equipment maintenance - Capture and process dental X-rays - Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care - Maintain accurate patient records and support daily office operations - Help create a clean, safe, and welcoming clinical environment What You Bring - We're looking for someone who is both skilled and passionate about patient care: - Completion of an accredited EFDA program - Current EFDA certification (REQUIRED) - Current X-ray certification (REQUIRED) - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment - Attention to detail and commitment to excellence What We Offer - We take care of our team so you can take care of our patients: - Competitive pay based on experience - Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance - Retirement plan through OPERS - Generous paid time off (vacation, sick time, holidays) - Ongoing training and continuing education opportunities - A supportive team culture where you can grow and succeed Ready to Make an Impact?
