RN - PCU

Surgical Stepdown RN Position

Schedule: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM (7p - 7:30a) with 36 hours scheduled and 24 hours guaranteed. Note that Banner reserves the right to cancel one shift.

Job Description: We are seeking experienced RNs to work in a Surgical Stepdown unit. The position requires floating between two campuses, with Boswell as the primary location. Candidates must be prepared to adhere to all requirements and meet specific criteria to secure a position promptly.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care in a Surgical Stepdown unit.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, administering medications as prescribed.
• Collaborate with medical staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain documentation in accordance with standards and regulations.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum 24 months of experience in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU), with recent experience in the last 12 months.
• Life support certifications (ACLS and BLS) must be from AHA, ARC, or ASHI.
• Active Arizona state license to practice with no hits on record.
• Travel experience is highly preferred.
• Driver's license required to verify residency.
