Maintenance Mechanic
Location: Los Angeles, CA
Day Shift: Monday - Friday, 7am - 3:30pm or 8am - 4:30pm
Pay Range: $28.00 - $35.00 per hour DOE
Job Description

Repair, install, adjust of manufacturing equipment such as Extruders, Printing Presses, converting, Slitters, ABM Machines and Pipeline Distribution Systems using the needed tools (standard& metric) Must provide their own tools and be able to operate Forklift, Chain hoist and Welding equipment.

Main Duties:

Conduct Preventive Maintenance & record repairs and maintenance performed.
Record parts and materials used, and place requisition for new parts and materials as necessary.
Analyze test results, machine error messages and information obtained from operators in order to diagnose equipment problems.
Repair manufacturing equipment in all facets, provide operational up time.
Maintain the operating condition of industrial production and processing machinery and equipment.
Cut and weld metal to repair broken metal parts, fabricate new parts, and assemble new equipment.
Study blueprints and MFG manuals to determine correct installation and operation of machinery
Demonstrate equipment functions and features to Machine Operators.
Enter codes and instructions to program computer- controlled machinery.
