Registered Nurse - Intensive Care Unit

Location: Chattanooga, TN

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for our Intensive Care Unit (ICU). The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care along with excellent teamwork and communication skills. You will be responsible for managing ventilator care, IV drip titration, and arterial line management, among other critical procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to ICU patients with varying levels of acuity.
• Utilize advanced skills such as intubation, central line insertions, and arterial line insertions.
• Maintain patient ratios of 2:1 and 3:1 to ensure optimal care.
• Participate in self-scheduling with manager oversight, including commitment to weekend shifts.
• Adhere to hospital-specific patient experience initiatives, including AIDET and bedside shift reports.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 2 years ICU experience.
• Must possess RN licensure.
• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS.
