Clinic Medical Assistant - Full Time

This position offers monthly incentive pay based on performance metrics. Sign on bonus up to $2,000 (for eligible applicants.*) Healthcare professionals such as Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs), Paramedics, and PCTs with healthcare backgrounds are encouraged to apply. High School Diploma or equivalent 1+ years of working experience as a Medical Assistant in a Hospital, Primary Care, Emergency Department, or Urgent Care setting CCMA- Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (verified through NHA, National Health career Association) CMA- Certified Medical Assistant (verified through AAMA, American Association of Medical Assistants, or CHP Certified Health Professionals) RMA- Registered Medical Assistant (verified through AMT, American Medical Technologists, or AAH, American Allied Health, or ARMA American Registry of Medical Assistants) NCMA- National Certified Medical Assistant (verified through NCCT, National Center for Competency Testing) NRCMA- Nationally Registered Certified Medial Assistant (verified through the National Association for Health Professionals) Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing, LPN or LVN at the time of hire (verified through state license) EMT- Emergency Medical Technician (verified through state certification and/or the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians) Paramedic (verified through state certification and/or and the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians) CCMA- Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (verified through NHA, National HealthCareer Association)

Register patients and verify insurance and documentation Prepare patients for examination and record medical history Conduct point-of-care testing (flu, strep, urinalysis, ECG, HCG) Assist providers with patient care and procedures Maintain exam rooms, supplies, and medical records Perform opening/closing duties and maintain equipment quality checks Applicants must meet certain criteria to qualify for Sign-on Bonus.
