Director of Operations: Finance & TechnologyPosition OverviewWe are seeking a strategic Director who is a skilled 'people person' a leader with a Team mentality, to manage several internal departments, and provide data-driven program administration, financial oversight, compliance with GAAP and ERISA, and coordination with collective bargaining units and unionized workforces. Key ResponsibilitiesProvide strategic leadership and operational management for department directors who oversee retirement, pension, and benefits programs across multiple states.Oversee financial department activities including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and audit preparation in accordance with GAAP.Ensure compliance with ERISA, federal and state regulations, and plan documents; coordinate legal and regulatory reviews as needed.Listen to and mentor department leaders, establish performance objectives, and build cross-functional team capabilities.Prepare and present data-driven program performance, financial status, and risk reports to senior leadership and governing boards.QualificationsBachelors degree, Master's degree preferred5-10+ years of demonstrated leadership and administration success managing department directors for information technology and / or accounting and finance Ability to work onsite dailySolid foundational skills in technology, software and IT operationsExcellent communication and relationship-building skillsBenefits3 Weeks of Paid Vacation9 Paid HolidaysPaid Paid Sick Time - can accrue and be cashed outEmployer Paid HMO Medical, Dental, Vision plans for employees and dependentsEmployer Paid Life InsuranceEmployer Paid 401(k) (after your first year) Employer contributes 15% - You do not need to contribute!
