Staff Civil Engineer

Salary: USD 60000 - 75000 Annually

Responsibilities

• Experience with pavement condition assessments and/or pavement design (preferred)
• Convert field information to final design drawings
• Preparation of technical memos, reports, construction plans and specifications for various civil design projects
• Develop basic grading plans from existing survey data
• Preparation of permit, bidding and documentation civil drawing sets
• Preparing construction and repair estimates from final designs
• Direct and coordinate the assembly of final plan sets from multiple discipline work
• Field observation of construction activities

Minimum Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering is required
• Master's degree is preferred
• Must have passed the FE exam
• 2-5 years of civil design experience with civil design, pavement, geotechnical or roadway projects
• Experienced with standard analysis programs, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Microsoft office programs, and surface water management programs desired
• GIS and modeling is a plus
• Willingness to travel and perform field work on civil, pavement and geotechnical investigations and construction projects
