Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial assessments and intake interviews to evaluate clients’ mental health, behavioral concerns, and emotional wellbeing, maintaining thorough documentation throughout the therapeutic process.

• Develop customized intervention and recovery plans for a diverse client base including individuals, couples, families, and groups, using evidence-based practices tailored to each client's needs.

• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions, ensuring an inclusive environment that fosters openness and healing.

• Monitor and assess clients’ progress against treatment goals, making necessary adjustments to enhance therapeutic interventions.

• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, other mental health specialists, medical professionals, and social workers to coordinate comprehensive care.

• Maintain regular follow-up with healthcare professionals for clients requiring hospitalization, ensuring effective management of their treatment and transition back to outpatient care.

• Identify potential barriers to recovery and devise strategies to mitigate these challenges, providing clients and their families with the tools they need for sustained improvement.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The clients you will serve come from varied backgrounds and experiences, presenting a broad spectrum of mental health needs. You will work with individuals facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, addiction, and relationship issues. Your role is critical in creating a safe, empathetic, and empowering environment that encourages clients to share their stories and work toward healing.

Qualifications\n

• A relevant Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid state licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) .

• Successful completion of national exams (NCE and/or NCMHCE) with a passing score.

• Demonstrable proficiency in utilizing electronic health record systems, particularly experience with AVATAR.
\n
• Strong understanding of mental health conditions and treatments, coupled with familiarity with addiction disorders.

Preferred Experience\n

• Prior experience in a mental health counseling role, ideally within a telehealth framework.

• Knowledge of American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA) best practices and relevant clinical guidelines.

• A solid understanding of pharmacological treatments and their effects on mental health.

• Excellent written and verbal communication capabilities along with superior interpersonal skills that establish trust and rapport with clients.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually , commensurate with experience and qualifications.
