What you'll do:

As a member of the Critical Care Transport Team, you'll work with an Emergency Medical Technician and Dispatch to respond to assigned calls, assess patients, and deliver skilled critical care nursing during interfacility transport. You'll be responsible for supervising the care, ongoing assessment, and treatment of the patient en route to the receiving facility.

• Provide patient care at a critical care / advanced life support level during interfacility transport
• Deliver care using critical care nursing skills, ACLS protocols, company protocols, transport orders, and pharmacological knowledge
• Coordinate directly with physicians, nurses, allied health staff, patients, and family members to maintain a safe transport environment
• Safely lift, transfer, and maneuver patients in and out of ambulances, facilities, and residences
• Operate the emergency vehicle safely at all times and respond to dispatch instructions
• Complete accurate, timely documentation in accordance with company policy
• Maintain vehicles, stations, communications equipment, medical equipment, and supplies to Northwest Ambulance standards
• Follow Northwest Ambulance policies and procedures, including Washington State and County EMS protocols
• Attend and participate in continuing education
• Maintain strict confidentiality of patient information and company operations
• Perform other duties as assigned
